Ascendent Animation Announces an English Dub of 'Show Time! 2'
LOS ANGELES, CA - OCTOBER 2023 - Ascendent Animation is proud to announce their latest acquisition, “SHOW TIME! 2” Alongside this acquisition, we are also proud to announce the production of an English dub of the series.
SHOW TIME! 2 is being dubbed in partnership with the Japanese company, WWWave Corporation. The show is based off of a Japanese manga written and illustrated by the artist, Mai Girigiri. The Coolmic website is publishing the manga in English digitally.
Show Time! 2 picks up where last season left off. Shoji and Minami are still together and avoiding detection so as not to put her job in jeopardy. However, one wrong move and a journalist starts to detect that a scandal may be brewing! Can Minami stay undetected or will a scandal erupt costing everyone their careers?!
The show follows an adult romantic storyline, featuring tender moments, relationship woes, Stalkers, and passionate stories. Each episode runs about 7 minutes long. P.M. Seymour (Genshin Impact, Demon King Evelogia, The Titan's Bride) will be directing the English version. Reece Bridger will be Assistant Directing. (Bulletville, Genshin Impact, Arknights) Steve Warky Nunez (Henkei Shoujo, Luminous Avenger IX-2, Sonic the Hedgehog), will helm the audio engineering/mixing and, K. Cornell Kellum (Realm of the Waterfall, The Titan's Bride, Fire in his Fingertips), will return as Executive Producer. The original English main cast will also be reprising their roles.

When asked about returning to direct a second season of Show Time!, Seymour exclaimed, "I was so moved that the creators of the show loved our first season production so much, they brought us back in for season 2, and with how the story is developing, I am so eager for returning viewers and new ones to see how it plays out!"
