Seven Seas Is Cooking Up Sweet and Spicy Fun with License of Gal Gohan Manga Series
(LOS ANGELES, March 15, 2019) – Seven Seas Entertainment is delighted to announce the license acquisition--both print and digital--of Gal Gohan by Marii Taiyō, a school comedy manga about food, fashion, and fun!
Okazaki Miku is a “gal”: a fun-loving high school student who expresses herself through bleached hair, sexy clothes, and heaps of accessories. Unfortunately, she's also flunking every class. When she asks her Home Economics teacher, Yabe Shinji, to help her bake bribery cookies for her disappointed teachers, she finds a new excitement in that small success--and Shinji is moved by her enthusiasm. Shinji decides to start a cooking club to better connect with his students, and Miku is first in line to join!
Seven Seas will publish the manga series Gal Gohan for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released on December 10, 2019 for $12.99 USA / $15.99 CAN.
