Saboten Con Announce Hosts for Masquerade and Musical Guest Eyeshine
Phoenix, Arizona - August 31, 2011
Saboten Con is proud to have actor/writer Robert Blatt and voice actor Sam Reigel as Masters of Ceremonies for its 2011 masquerade. Also special musical group Eyeshine will perform the masquerade half-time show. Saboten Con will be held from September 30 to October 2 at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
Previously announced guests to attend Saboten Con, Robert Blatt and Sam Reigel will also host the masquerade for Saboten Con 2011. Get ready for comedic mischief with the dynamic duo as they take the mic while performers take the stage competing for best in show. During the convention, there will also be panels featuring Rob Blatt and Sam Reigel. You do not want to miss it.
Furthermore, musical group Eyeshine will perform an acoustic set for the halftime show at the masquerade. Formed in 2004 by frontman Johnny Yong Bosch and Maurice Salmin, Eyeshine first found success in 2006 with a unique blend of pop punk and post grunge called Edge Rock. The band gained a modest audience with its debut EP, "How About That" and their first full-length album, "Red Stripes White Lights" but it was their sophomore effort, "My Paper Kingdom" that officially opened the floodgates in 2009. MPK featured their award winning song, ALONE, whose honest and simple lyrics made a connection to a steadily growing fan base. The band has continued to self produced 2 more albums, "Tone Of Echoes" and "Afterglow" and are currently in the studio recording their 6th and 7th CDs. The band has been touring across the nation since 2006.
