The official website for singer Shiena Nishizawa announced on Sunday that she will perform the ending theme song "Love Men Holic" for the television anime of Naru Narumi's Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) manga. Nishizawa previously performed theme songs for KanColle and the KanColle film, both seasons of The Asterisk War, and Aria the Avvenire. Her fifth single with the song will ship on February 21.
The show stars:
Ayana Taketatsu as Koizumi
Ayane Sakura as Yū Ōsawa
Akari Kitō as Misa Nakamura
Yumi Hara as Jun Takahashi
Kenji Setō (both seasons of The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water) is directing the series at Studio Gokumi (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn, Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic) and AXsiZ (Wagamama High Spec, Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn). Tatsuya Takahashi (Eromanga Sensei, And you thought there is never a girl online?) is handling the series composition, and Takuya Tani (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn) is designing the characters.
Voice actress and singer Minori Suzuki (Macross Delta's Freyja Wion) is performing the opening theme song to mark her solo debut.
The series will premiere in January.
The gourmet comedy follows the daily life of Koizumi, a high school girl who looks like a cool beauty at first glance, but actually has an unexpected side of her that loves ramen.
Narumi launched the manga in Takeshobo's Manga Life Storia magazine in 2013, and Takeshobo published the fifth compiled book volume on March 30. The sixth volume will ship on January 30. The manga already inspired a live-action television series in 2015, followed by a New Year's Special in January 2016 and a New Year's Eve Special in December 2016.
The manga is also inspiring a smartphone game.
