Square Enix's Dia Horizon TV Anime Revealed as CG Shorts Debuting October 2

Square Enix revealed more details on the television anime of its Dia Horizon multimedia project on Tuesday. The Dia Horizon (Kabu) anime will be a short anime with five-minute episodes, and it will use Flash and CG animation. The story will combine the game's world with modern salaryman life.
The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on October 2 at 25:00 (effectively October 3 at 1:00 a.m.).
The cast members, reprising their roles from the game, include:
- Seiichirō Yamashita as Rian
- Aimi Tanaka as Sophia
- Hibiku Yamamura as Ingrid
- Yū Serizawa as Lete
- Keiji Fujiwara as Ulf
- Takahiro Sakurai as Victor
Haruki Kasugamori (Ketsu-Inu, Keroro, Lunatan: 1-Mannen no Himitsu) is directing the anime at Fanworks. Yūki Takabayashi (Love Rice) is supervising and writing the scripts.
The project also has a series of web anime shorts that run in the project's official website. It launched on August 9.
The project's smartphone game launched for iOS and Android devices on August 24.
A four-panel web manga is available on the website. 11 installments are currently available, and the website lists at least one more installment as "coming soon." A separate original manga also launched in Square Enix's Manga UP! app on August 6.
Ghost Mikawa is writing the alternate world fantasy novel Dia Horizon ~Akatsuki no Keiyakusha~ (Dia Horizon: Dawn's Contractee) that is serializing on Kadokawa's Kakuyomu website. The novel's prologue chapter debuted on July 28.
