100% Pascal-sensei Anime's 6th Episode Streams Until April
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official website of the television anime adaptation of Yūji Nagai's gag comedy manga 100% Pascal-sensei began streaming the anime's sixth episode on Thursday. The episode starts out with Pascal and Hayato attending a screening of the 100% Pascal-sensei anime, but the anime itself turns out to be a bit rushed and low quality. The anime's producer makes excuses and flees, leaving Pascal crying on the floor.
The episode is only available until April 15. The anime will premiere on MBS and TBS on April 15 at 6:30 a.m.
The site also revealed the anime's cast and staff. The cast includes:
Yuki Kodaira as Hayato-kun
Misako Tomioka as Chika-chan
Daiki Kobayashi as Steve Kanamori
Kōji Takeda as Iwata-kun
Shinya Hamazoe as Yūsuke Kitano-kun
Yuka Maruyama as Hikaru Tachibana
Yo Miura (Otona Joshi no Anime Time) is directing the anime at OLM. Ryōichi Mori (Peeping Life - The Perfect Edition -) is in charge of series composition and is also credited as creative producer. Kazumi Sato (Pokémon franchise) is designing the characters. Kouichi Iizuka (Spiritpact) is the sound director. Shunsuke Takizawa (The Testament of Sister New Devil) is composing the music at TRYTONELABO.
Hana Sato is performing both the opening theme song "100% Pascal-sensei" and the ending theme song "Pascal Yogayoga" as her character Pascal-sensei.
The story of 100% Pascal-sensei centers around an elementary school teacher who is so stupid, he cannot even write his own name. He does whatever he likes in his classroom. Plus, by all appearances, he is not human.
Nagai launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine 2015, and Shogakukan published the fourth compiled volume on December 28. A Penguin's Troubles, an earlier manga that Nagai published in Monthly Coro Coro Comics, inspired a 2008 television anime and a 2009 anime movie.
