Shogakukan to Launch New Corocoro Aniki Magazine in October

Japanese publisher Shogakukan will premiere a new magazine for older audiences titled CoroCoro Aniki on October 15. The magazine is aimed for middle school boys who have "graduated" from Corocoro Comics and men who have been reading the magazine for 20 to 30 years.
Both the September and October issues of Corocoro Comics ran announcements for the new magazine.
CoroCoro Aniki will run the following manga:
- Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!! Return Racers by Tetsuhiro Koshita
- Kattobase! Kiyohara-kun by Junji Kawai
- CoroCoro Sōkan Densetsu (Legend of CoroCoro's First Issue) by Shinbo Nomura
- Dual Masters Haō-den Gachi!! by Masato Fujisaki
- Pro Wrestling (temporary title) by Tobira Oda
- Mochikomi Of The Dead by Fujiminosuke Yorozuya
- Otona no Zettai Zetsumei Dangerous Jii-san (An Adult's Desperate Situation Dangerous Grandpa) by Kazutoshi Soyama
- Hyahhaa dayo Funasshi by Maeda-kun
- Death.TV by Kazuya Kaneda
- Future Card Buddyfight Tokubetsu-hen (Future Card Buddyfight Special Edition) by Masanori Yoshida
- Sekai-Ichi Atsukunai MonHun Gag (The World's Least Serious Monster Hunter Gag) by Makochin Ishihara
The first issue will also come with Dual Masters and Buddyfight cards, and the magazine will have features on hobbies such as Minecraft, Gunpla, Puzzles and Dragons, and WIXOSS.
Shogakukan's first periodic manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday was published in 1950, and Corocoro Comics in 1977. Corocoro's manga titles include Beyblade, Pokémon, and Yōkai Watch.
