Taeko no Nichijō Anime Offering Appearance via Twitter Campaign

The office comedy anime Taeko no Nichijō (Taeko's Everyday Life) is seeking new talent via social media. Fans of the show needn't bother with a resume or a demo reel—all you have to do is follow the official Twitter account and retweet the post detailing how to apply.

Staff will choose one person via lottery on December 2. The winner or the winner's character design will appear in the series from late January to late February. The character will be a friend of Taeko who is voiced by Aimi. Aimi was already announced as voicing Taeko's friend Asami.
Sorosoro Tanigawa's Taeko no Nichijō manga centers on the titular Taeko Shinbō, an office worker who is patient with everything and greets everything that comes her way with cheer. The television short anime premiered on October 5. Tanigawa is directing the anime. ABC TV and DLE are credited for production.
Tanigawa debuted the manga on Twitter in 2015, and then began publishing it in Sankei Living Shimbunsha's City Living magazine in 2016. DLE Publishing two compiled book volumes for the manga in May and November 2018.
