Sword Art Online Singer LiSA Puts a Spin on Kirin Lemon Theme

Swort Art Online theme singer LiSA is tapping into that nostalgic summer feeling in music video for "Kirin Lemon no Uta." The Kirin Lemon soft drink has been available in Japan since the 1920s and its ubiquitous theme song has been covered multiple times. Bands and singers like BiSH, Frederic, and Inori Minase have covered the song in the past. LiSA's version is set to a high school story of a group of friends on the school's basketball team, their fun-filled memories, and maybe a chance for love for one of them.
LiSA has performed theme songs for multiple seasons of Sword Art Online and Fate franchise and performed the first opening and ending theme for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Her LiSA BEST albums were in the top 10 best-selling anime CD albums of 2018.
