Dragon Quest's Metal Slime Gets Sleek Laptop

If a unique Slime PlayStation 4 controller and New Nintendo 2DS XL console isn't enough for your Dragon Quest tech fix, Tsukumo will release a Metal Slime laptop.
The Metal Slime notebook is based on Acer's Aspire V13 V3-372-H58G laptop . It includes Windows 10 Home Edition, an Core i5-6267U CPU, an 8GB memory, a 1TB HD drive, and a 13.3 LCD screen. The computer has a seven hour battery life.
Specs aside, the Dragon Quest X edition laptop also comes with special perks designed for fans of the game. The back of the screen has a peeking metal slime, an image that is also included as one of two wallpapers. It also comes with in-game codes for players to receive a Metal Slime house, a clinging metal slime companion, a metal slime suit for the game's private concierge, two metal slime message boards, and a land ticket.
The Metal Slime laptop costs 99,800 yen (US$900) and will be in stock in early June.
The Dragon Quest franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The franchise has an attraction at Universal Studios Japan, Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete (Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time) is slated to ship for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo Switch this year. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS versions are slated for release on July 29.
Dragon Quest X will launch for the PlayStation 4 on August 17 and Nintendo Switch on September 21. Square Enix released Dragon Quest X on the Wii and Wii U platforms in March 2013, and on the PC in September 2013. Nintendo has also since released Android and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game.
