This is a fantastic interview. The show works incredibly well as a mystery and suspense drama softened by cute animal character designs. The bantering comedic dialogue adds a lot of depth, and I’m sure that recording the dialogue pre-animation and creating the visuals to match is a big part of that.
I just wished you had asked the director what live-action directors and movies inspired him, because I’ve been wondering that since the first episode. |
